This Privacy Policy explains what happens with your information when you visit LaserCutIdeas (https://lasercutideas.pages.dev). We keep it short and plain, because the site is simple.
Who is responsible
The site is run by its owner, who is the data controller for the limited data described below. You can contact us at any time at tayler.calligaromm2m@gmx.com.
What we collect
We do not ask you for personal data. The site has no user accounts, no comment forms, no newsletter sign-up and no online store. We do not use advertising tools. If you click Accept in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (see the Analytics section below). If you click Decline, analytics is not loaded.
If you write to us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you put in your message. We use it only to answer you, and we keep it only as long as needed for that conversation.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like almost every web host, the hosting provider may process technical data when your browser loads a page, such as your IP address, browser type, date and time and the page requested. This is done to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We do not use this data to identify you. You can read how Cloudflare handles data in their own privacy policy.
Third-party content and links
- Product images on this site are loaded from the Creative Fabrica image servers. When your browser loads them, Creative Fabrica may receive your IP address and basic browser information.
- Download and affiliate links take you to Creative Fabrica. Once you are on their website, their privacy policy and cookie rules apply. Creative Fabrica and its affiliate program may place cookies to record that you came from LaserCutIdeas, which is how we get credit if you buy or sign up. We do not control these cookies.
- Some blog posts may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Analytics (only with your consent)
If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). It collects usage data such as the pages you view, the time spent, your device and browser type, approximate location and a pseudonymous identifier stored in a cookie. Google processes your IP address as part of this. We use the data only to see which pages are useful and to improve the site.
The legal basis is your consent. You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or by clearing your browser data. If you decline, analytics scripts are not loaded. See Google's own privacy policy for details about how Google handles data.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in running and securing the website, on your request when you contact us by email, and on your consent for analytics cookies if you accept them.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or a place with similar laws, you may have the right to ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of it, and to object to processing. To use these rights, write to tayler.calligaromm2m@gmx.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In Latvia this is the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija).
Children
The site is a general craft site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we add new tools such as a newsletter, we will update this page before we do so and change the date at the top.
